Clear routes.
Logical headings, meaningful links, understandable errors, clear language, predictable navigation, and content that does not rely on color alone.
01 / Legal / Accessibility
Jamie Lynn Services wants its website, software, documents, communications, and digital experiences to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities.
This page states where we actually are — including what does not work yet.
02 Our direction
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time website project. Jamie Lynn Services is working toward digital experiences informed by WCAG 2.2 and the principles of perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust content.
The U.S. Department of Justice explains that businesses open to the public must provide people with disabilities equal access to the goods and services they offer, including those offered online. WCAG is widely used as technical guidance for accessible web content.
03 What we work toward
We do not claim that the entire current website is fully conformant unless that has been verified.
Logical headings, meaningful links, understandable errors, clear language, predictable navigation, and content that does not rely on color alone.
Accessible authentication, labeled forms, usable zoom, keyboard interaction, and compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies where practical.
Responsive layouts and reduced barriers caused by motion or animation, while keeping the visual system recognizable.
04 Conformance status
An accessibility statement is only useful if it is specific about what has and has not been verified.
Jamie Lynn Services considers this website partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard.
We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit. Our assessment is based on internal review, and we say so plainly rather than implying a certification we do not hold.
Where a page or document is known not to conform, we would rather list it below than leave you to discover it.
05 Known limitations
Listing these is uncomfortable and it is the point. You should not have to find them yourself.
// If you hit a barrier that is not on this list, telling us is genuinely useful. It is how the list gets accurate.
06 Need help accessing something?
If you experience difficulty accessing information, completing a form, using a page, or interacting with a JLS digital experience, contact us. Tell us what you were trying to access, the page or feature involved, the difficulty you experienced, and the best way for us to respond.
You do not need to use the contact form to reach us about accessibility — if the form itself is the barrier, that is important for us to know, and any route you can use is a valid one.
If you cannot use it, it does not work.
// ACCESSIBILITY IS A DEFECT CLASS, NOT A FEATURE REQUEST
