Structured data is machine-readable markup that describes the entities and properties represented on a page. Search engines publish supported vocabularies and eligibility requirements for certain search features. Organization, Person/ProfilePage, Article, and LocalBusiness markup can make facts such as identity, authorship, dates, hours, locations, and related details more explicit.

The most important limitation is that markup is a representation of content, not a substitute for truth. If a page does not actually support a claim, adding a structured field does not make the claim valid. Likewise, correct markup does not guarantee that a search engine will display a particular result or rank a page in a particular position.

This makes structured data a final representation layer rather than the beginning of the authority process. The organization should first establish the correct entity, fact, relationship, and source. The public page should present that information accurately. Structured data can then express the same underlying record in a machine-readable form.

Structured data is especially useful when an authority system already separates entities. A professional profile can identify a Person, a company page can identify an Organization, a location can identify a LocalBusiness, and an article can identify its author and dates without forcing those facts into one ambiguous object.

Dominator therefore treats structured data as one publication output. It can improve clarity and eligibility, but it cannot replace evidence, maintenance, or useful content.
